Wilderness Trips & Outdoor Adventure Rise Together will be offering Wilderness Trips beginning in the summer of 2004. With certified Maine Guides, Shawn Mercer and Cara Audibert, trips will include components of self-reflection, skill-building, problem-solving, & eco-awareness. Trips will take place in the wilds of Maine and will often include hiking, canoeing, & camping. Please visit our upcoming events page to see our current offerings. We will also organize trips for groups of 5 or more—please contact Shawn directly to organize your own wilderness trip. All services and events offered by Rise Together will include some aspects of team-building, but we also offer workshops specifically to teach others how to use team-building to create positive group dynamics in the classroom, office, or program. Team building activities help to make everyone in a group feel worthwhile and included, help a group to function more efficiently and respectfully, and reduce communication problems among individuals. To schedule a team-building workshop for your school, program, or workplace please send a request to info@risetogether.com. Traditional Maine Outdoor Activities Although many of the experiences we offer will include some aspects of traditional Maine outdoor activities, we also offer trips that focus on the skills and knowledge inherent in the Maine outdoor tradition. These include, but are not limited to, hunting and fishing skills, snowshoeing, white water canoeing, hiking and camping, and survival skills. Our wilderness trips will also include more modern wilderness experiences. Contact us or see our upcoming events page for more information. Hey kids! This section is for you.
